Wreckfest (Nintendo Switch)

Wreckfest is a no-rules racing game published by THQ Nordic, and this is the physical game card for Nintendo Switch. It mixes racing, action and sports, and supports up to 16 players.

Gameplay and features

• No-rules racing action
• Action, racing and sports genres combined
• Up to 16 players
• Rated PEGI 12
• On-screen text in Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Korean and Chinese
• Physical game card for Nintendo Switch, published by THQ Nordic

Wreckfest is for players who see racing as a contact sport. The mix of action and racing makes it very different from a polished, rules-first circuit game, and the 16-player support means a full field can be on track together.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

On Nintendo Switch, Wreckfest comes as a physical game card, which makes it simple to keep in your collection or pass to a friend. With ten on-screen languages listed, it is easy to enjoy for players in different households.

A PEGI 12 rating makes it a good option for older children and teens who want something louder and more chaotic than a traditional racer.

Racing games usually reward clean lines and careful driving. Wreckfest is positioned the other way round, as exhilarating no-rules racing action, so it suits players who enjoy a bit of chaos on the track. It combines action, racing and sports elements, and the large player count means there is always plenty happening around you.

The game was released in June 2022 and is published by THQ Nordic. It is a good choice for anyone building a Nintendo Switch library with a mix of genres and looking for a racing game with an edge.
