Strong airflow moves the dustbin's contents into a 2.5L dust bag in the Omni station. In Xiaomi's tests it needed emptying only once every 75 days.

Washed, spun, dried with hot air.
After each clean the station soaks and spins the mop pads, then dries them with hot air in as little as 3 hours, so there is no sun-drying and no musty smell.

A 4L clean water tank and a 3.8L dirty water tank mean far fewer refills: one tank mops up to 120m² of floor in Xiaomi's tests.

Structured light plus an edge sensor.
A 120° wide-area structured light sensor and an edge sensor spot low obstacles early and measure the distance to edges, so the X20 Pro rarely gets stuck. A cliff sensor turns it around at steps.
Mops up, suction up.
An ultrasonic sensor detects carpet and raises the mop pads by 10mm. Turn on Carpet boost and suction rises automatically while the mops are lifted, pulling dust from deep in the pile without getting it wet.
