Wolfenstein: Youngblood Deluxe Edition (PS4)

Wolfenstein: Youngblood Deluxe Edition is a first-person shooter for PlayStation 4, published by Bethesda, and the first modern co-op adventure in the Wolfenstein series. This is the physical disc in the Deluxe Edition, and you can play it alone or with a friend.

Twin sisters, Nazi-occupied Paris

The story picks up nineteen years after the events of Wolfenstein II. BJ Blazkowicz has disappeared after a mission into Nazi-occupied Paris, and his twin daughters, Jess and Soph Blazkowicz, are forced into action after years of training from their battle-hardened father.

Your base of operations is deep in the Paris catacombs. From there you plan how and when to attack and dismantle the Nazi regime, in what is described as the most open-ended Wolfenstein experience to date.

Gameplay and features

• Co-op adventure for two: team up with a friend or play alone
• Level up, explore and complete missions
• Unlock new abilities, weapons, gadgets and cosmetics to suit your playstyle
• A hub in the Paris catacombs from which to plan your attacks
• Online co-op supports up to 2 online players with PS Plus
• In-game purchases are optional

Why play it on PS4

The game is enhanced for PS4 Pro and supports DUALSHOCK 4 vibration, and Remote Play is supported if you want to play away from the TV. Online play is optional, and PlayStation Plus is required for online co-op.

As a physical PlayStation 4 disc, it also plays on a PS5 console with a disc drive.

Because Youngblood is built around two sisters, it works particularly well as a shared experience: one player can take each twin and explore, level up and complete missions together. If you prefer to go solo, the same progression system applies, so you can still unlock new abilities, weapons and gadgets at your own pace.
