Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 (PS4)

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 puts two of the most recognisable skateboarding games in one collection and plays them on PS4 in rebuilt HD. This is the physical PS4 disc, published by Activision Blizzard Int'l BV, rated GENERIC 12 and built around the sport genre. It is aimed at anyone who remembers the original Pro Skater games and at newer players who want a straightforward, trick-focused skating game.

Two classics, rebuilt from the ground up

The collection brings together Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. Rather than a simple re-release, both games have been rebuilt from the ground up in HD. The listing describes all the pro skaters, levels and tricks as returning and fully remastered, with some extras on top.

That makes it an easy pick for a skating fan who wants the familiar roster and the familiar parks without hunting down old hardware. It also works as an entry point if you have never played the series: you get two games in one box, and the sport focus keeps the pitch simple. You skate, you chain tricks, and you try to do it better than the last run.

Why play it on PS4

The PS4 disc is a physical copy, so you can put it in the console and start skating. Online sessions are optional: if you want to skate with other people over the internet, up to 8 players are supported and PS Plus is required for online play. If you would rather stay offline, the game does not force you online.

The disc also plays on PS5 consoles that have a disc drive, which is useful if you plan to change console later. On-screen text is available in English, German, Spanish, French and Italian.
