Super Mario RPG (Nintendo Switch)

Super Mario RPG is a role-playing Mario adventure for Nintendo Switch, supplied on a physical game card. The official description calls it a whimsical quest with a group of unlikely heroes, and the specs mark it as a single-player game with a PEGI 7 age rating.

A whimsical quest

Where most Mario games are about running and jumping, this one is tagged as an RPG. The official description describes a quest with a group of unlikely heroes, so you can expect a party-based adventure rather than a solo run to the end of a level.

The product details list the genres as Action and RPG, with Nintendo as publisher and Super Mario as the series. The player count is up to 1, so this is a game for one player at a time.

Who it suits

Super Mario RPG is for players who like a story-driven adventure played at a steady pace, whether they know the series or not. It is a single-player game, so it suits solo evenings, and PEGI 7 means younger fans can play it too.
