Super Mario Maker 2 (Nintendo Switch)

Super Mario Maker 2 lets you make your own Super Mario courses, and the publisher's invitation is to break the rules while you do it. It is a platformer exclusive to Nintendo Switch, supplied here on a physical game card, with support for 1 to 4 players and a PEGI 3 age rating.

Make the courses you imagined

The official line says you can break the rules and build the Super Mario courses you have always dreamed of, and that this game is only on Nintendo Switch. That is the draw: instead of only running through levels someone else designed, you take the role of the designer.

The product details tag it as a Platformer in the Super Mario series, published by Nintendo. The listing does not spell out individual tools or modes, so we will not claim any beyond the course-making idea itself.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

Super Mario Maker 2 is described as only on Nintendo Switch, and this listing is the physical game card for it. If anyone in your household enjoys inventing challenges, a game centred on making courses gives them something to do beyond playing.

The language list covers English, French, German, Spanish and others, but Arabic is not included.

Who it suits

This one is for players who like to tinker: anyone who has ever thought a Mario level should be harder, stranger or kinder will find the idea appealing. With PEGI 3 and 1 to 4 players, it also works as a family game where each person takes a turn at designing.
