SUPER BOMBERMAN R 2 (Nintendo Switch)

SUPER BOMBERMAN R 2 is Konami's Bomberman game for Nintendo Switch, mixing action, party and puzzle gameplay on a physical game card. It is rated PEGI 7, so it suits younger players as well as the grown-ups competing with them, and the player count is generous: the specs list support for up to 64 players.

A new Bomberman on Switch

The official description is short and to the point: this is a new Bomberman game made for Nintendo Switch. That is the core of the appeal. Bomberman is a series built on simple, readable rules, where placing bombs and outsmarting everyone else matters more than memorising complicated controls, and SUPER BOMBERMAN R 2 carries that idea onto the Switch.

The genre tags tell you what to expect: action for the fast, moment-to-moment bomb placement, party for the multiplayer fun, and puzzle for the thinking that goes into trapping rivals and clearing a path. If you want a game you can hand to a friend or a family member without a long explanation, that mix is a strong fit.
