Squirrel with a Gun (PS5)

Squirrel with a Gun is a sandbox shooter and puzzle platformer in which the neighbourhood's most obnoxious rodent takes up crime, published by Maximum Entertainment France SAS on a physical disc for PlayStation 5. It is a single-player, offline game rated GENERIC 12 and it has been out since 15 October 2024. Order online and it is delivered across Lebanon.

A squirrel, a gun and a lot of acorns

You play a squirrel who develops a knack, and perhaps a love, for crime and mayhem while chasing golden acorns. The story starts with an escape from a secret underground facility and a fight against the Agents. Along the way you upgrade weapons and find other secret bunkers, where elite bosses wait, and you can even blow up a tank.

Gameplay and features

• Fight with tooth, claw and gun, and swap weapons to try all 12 types of enemy takedown
• Upgrade your weapons and locate secret bunkers to take down elite bosses
• Solve puzzle rooms to collect golden acorns, using weapon recoil to boost yourself
• Collect enough golden acorns to unlock hidden sections of the game
• Sandbox fun: explore from a squirrel's eye view or cruise in your toy car
• Help passersby for goodies (or mug them) and unlock cosmetics for your own look

The mix of shooting and puzzles is the game's identity: the weapons are both your tools for combat and your way of reaching places, since recoil can give you a lift.

Why play it on PS5

The PS5 disc supports DualSense vibration, so gunfire and recoil come through the controller. The game is offline only and single-player, so it does not need PlayStation Plus. As a physical disc it needs a PS5 console with a disc drive and will not run on a PS5 Digital Edition.

On-screen text is available in German, Spanish, French, Italian and English. Arabic is not listed.

Squirrel with a Gun is for players who want something a little silly and a little chaotic. Browse more PlayStation 5 games, check the PlayStation consoles if you need a console, or add a spare DualSense from our PlayStation controllers. Order online and it is delivered across Lebanon.
