Sonic Superstars (PS4)

Overview

Sonic Superstars brings the beloved 2D side-scrolling Sonic formula roaring back to life on PlayStation 4, blending the high-speed platforming that defined a generation with fully rendered 3D graphics, inventive new mechanics, and an entirely new world to explore. Set across the mysterious Northstar Islands — a sprawling archipelago teeming with giant animals, lush environments, and deadly traps — this is the most ambitious classic-style Sonic adventure SEGA has delivered in years. Whether you're a longtime fan or discovering the blue blur for the first time, Sonic Superstars offers a fresh, fast, and genuinely exciting experience from start to finish.

Dr. Eggman is back and this time he's brought company: his old nemesis Fang returns alongside a mysterious new armored adversary. Together, they're harvesting the Northstar Islands' giant animals and converting them into Badniks. It's up to Sonic and friends to race across the islands, harness the power of the Chaos Emeralds, and put a stop to the villainous trio before it's too late.
