Sonic Colours: Ultimate is a high-speed platformer for Nintendo Switch, published by SEGA and supplied as a physical game card. It is rated PEGI 7 and lists support for up to two players.

Non-stop Sonic speed

The game's tagline promises non-stop Sonic speed and invites you to colour the universe, which sums up its upbeat, fast-moving personality. The genre tags on this listing are Action, Adventure and Platformer, so expect running, jumping and quick reactions as the main ingredients.

SEGA released it on Nintendo Switch on 3 September 2021, and the Standard edition is the one supplied here.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

Sonic and Nintendo consoles go back a long way, and a game card keeps ownership simple: slot it in and play. Having Sonic Colours: Ultimate on a physical card also means you can lend it to a friend or keep it on the shelf alongside the rest of your collection.

Because up to two players are supported, it works as a shared game as well as a solo one.

Some practical points before you order. The card is made for Nintendo Switch, and the PEGI 7 rating makes the game suitable for children as well as adults. Two-player support means it is easy to share, and the physical format keeps the game on your shelf instead of only on your console. It is the Standard edition of the game, published by SEGA, with seven on-screen languages.
