Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance (PS5)

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance (PS5) is a role-playing game published by SEGA that takes the acclaimed Shin Megami Tensei V and expands it with a brand-new storyline, new locations, new demons and new choices. This is the physical disc for PlayStation 5, rated PEGI 16.

Two stories in one game

Vengeance contains two complete story paths. The new route, the Canon of Vengeance, is a dramatic tale of revenge by the fallen, centred on new characters and a mysterious group of demons, the Qadištu, who plot their own designs apart from the war between those who maintain order and those who defy it. The other is the original story of Shin Megami Tensei V, the Canon of Creation, an eternal conflict between angels and demons in which the protagonist fights for the world's fate.

The premise: a grisly murder scene in modern-day Tokyo blocks your hero's walk home, and an unplanned detour leaves him buried and unconscious. He wakes in a new Tokyo, an apocalyptic wasteland called Da'at, where a savior emerges and the two of them merge into a Nahobino, a being neither human nor demon.
