S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl (PS5)

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl (PS5) sends you back into the Zone, the sealed-off, anomalous region born from the Chornobyl disaster. Published by GSC Game World, it is an open-world survival shooter with horror elements, rated GENERIC 18, and this listing is the physical disc for PlayStation 5.

Welcome to the Zone

In this story, the 1986 Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident was followed by a second catastrophic explosion in 2006, and from it came the Zone, a place where the laws of our world no longer apply. Years later it is still cut off, yet those who dare to enter call themselves stalkers.

The Zone here is bigger, harsher and more seamless than before, with a gritty, rusted atmosphere. You can explore the abandoned city of Pripyat, the rusted skeleton of the Duga-1, forgotten villages and hidden underground laboratories, with anomalies that rewrite the laws of physics scattered across the map and each guarding an artifact worth dying for.

Gameplay and features

• A seamless open world that keeps moving with factions, stalkers, mutants and the environment interacting even when you are not watching
• Scavenging and trading, with guns, attachments, detectors and gear to tune your loadout
• Survival pressure from radiation, anomalies, bloodthirsty mutants and rival stalkers
• Scarce resources and equipment that wears out, so every bullet counts
• Choices about allies and enemies that shape your path, so no two journeys play out the same
• PS5 Pro Enhanced support

Why play it on PlayStation 5

The DualSense wireless controller is supported with vibration and trigger effects, so firing a weapon and moving through danger feels physical. The game is PS5 Pro Enhanced, and it is a 1-player experience delivered on disc.

On-screen text includes Arabic, along with English, French, German, Spanish, Ukrainian and many other languages.
