Rise of the Ronin (PS5)

Rise of the Ronin (PS5) is an open-world action adventure set in a turbulent Japan, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. You play a masterless warrior with no name and no master, and the story bends around the choices you make. This is the physical disc for PlayStation 5, rated MENA 18.

Japan, 1863: a country on the edge

After three centuries of Tokugawa Shogunate rule, the Black Ships of the West arrive at the nation's borders and the country slides into turmoil, with war, disease and political unrest all around. Rise of the Ronin takes place in the Bakumatsu period, the end of the Shogunate, when East and West collide and a new era begins.

As a Ronin your destiny is your own. The story unfolds in different ways depending on who you ally with, and you face critical mission decisions, such as whether to assassinate or protect key figures, through a multi-choice system that shapes the course of history.

The DualSense wireless controller brings the fight into your hands. Haptic feedback lets you feel the impact of combat, and adaptive triggers recreate the click of a matchlock rifle's trigger. With 3D spatial audio over TV speakers or analogue or USB stereo headphones, the capital's streets and the quiet countryside sound distinct, and the console's fast load times keep you in the action.

The game is PS5 Pro Enhanced and supports Remote Play, so it can follow you around the house when the TV is taken.
