Resident Evil Revelations is a survival-horror action game for PlayStation 4 in full HD 1080p with all previous DLC included and new features. It is set aboard a ghost ship in the Mediterranean Sea, where Jill Valentine is searching for her old partner Chris Redfield. This physical disc was released on 28 August 2017 and is rated PEGI 16.

Jill Valentine and the ghost ship

The story takes place before the Kijuju and Lanshiang bioterror incidents, back when the BSAA was still a young organization. You join Jill Valentine aboard a ghost ship in the Mediterranean Sea as she looks for her old partner, Chris Redfield.

Along the way you learn the hidden truth behind the destruction of a floating city. The campaign is played solo, while Raid Mode adds a co-op killing spree with friends over the internet.

The ghost ship and the floating city give the game a dark, atmospheric backdrop, and the story fills in a part of the timeline for fans who want to know how the BSAA's early days fit together.
