Resident Evil 5 (PS4)

Resident Evil 5 is one of the most popular games in Capcom's survival-horror series, delivered on PlayStation 4 in full 1080p HD with an increased frame rate. This physical disc includes single-player and co-op modes, a dramatic storyline, rated PEGI 18, and all previously released DLC.

A fully loaded edition

The game combines a dramatic storyline with the option to take it on alone or together. It supports two players, so you can bring a partner along for the campaign, and online co-op is optional.

This edition comes fully loaded. Every piece of previously released DLC is included: the Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape story expansions, Versus mode, extra figures and four costumes. On top of that there is No Mercy mode, and a new mode called The Mercenaries United.

That makes it a convenient way to own the game: the extra story content and modes are on the same disc as the main campaign, so nothing needs to be bought separately to see everything the edition offers.

What is included

• Single-player and co-op campaign for two players
• Full 1080p HD and an increased frame rate on PS4
• Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape story expansions

Why play it on PS4

The online co-op supports up to four online players with PlayStation Plus, while the local campaign is for two players. Remote Play works if you want to continue on another device, and DUALSHOCK 4 vibration gives the action some weight.

The disc has a PEGI 18 rating, so it is intended for adults. On-screen text comes in German, English, Spanish, French and Italian. Arabic is not listed for this edition.

Released on 2 August 2016 for PlayStation 4, it suits players who like to share a campaign with a friend, since two-player play is built into the game. Online co-op is optional, so you can also keep it local.
