Resident Evil 4 (PS5)

Resident Evil 4 is a survival-horror game for PlayStation 5 that reimagines the series' landmark chapter, with modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline and vividly detailed graphics. Released on 23 March 2023, this physical disc is a one-player, offline experience rated MENA 18, with Arabic on-screen text and optional PS VR2 support.

A village where something is terribly wrong

Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City. Agent Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors, has been sent to rescue the president's kidnapped daughter. He tracks her to a secluded European village where there is something terribly wrong with the locals.

The story is a mixture of daring rescue and grueling horror, in which life and death, terror and catharsis intersect. The game is billed as the rebirth of an industry juggernaut and invites you to relive the nightmare that revolutionized survival horror.

Why play it on PS5

This is a game that makes use of what the PS5 offers. The DualSense wireless controller supports vibration and trigger effects, and the game is PS5 Pro Enhanced. The listing also includes optional PS VR2 support: if you own the headset and Sense controllers, vibration and trigger effects are supported on them as well, in sitting or standing play styles.

On-screen text is available in Arabic and many other languages, which makes menus and subtitles easy to follow for Arabic readers. The game is published by CE Europe Limited, with Capcom holding the copyright. Because the rating is MENA 18, it is a game for adults.

Modernized gameplay and a reimagined storyline mean returning fans and newcomers can approach it equally, and the game's single-player focus keeps the pacing tight.
