Who it suits
The Ornata V2 is aimed at players who want a full-size keyboard with a distinctive feel. The hybrid Mecha-Membrane design combines a tactile click with a soft, cushioned touch, which makes it comfortable for long sessions of both gaming and typing.
The wrist rest, digital wheel and media keys make it a good all-round desk keyboard, and the Xbox One compatibility for basic input adds flexibility if you want to try it with a console.
Comfort and control
The plush leatherette wrist rest supports your hands, while the multi-function digital wheel and dedicated media keys let you adjust sound and playback without leaving your game.
Razer Chroma RGB backlighting offers 16.8 million colours, and Razer Synapse is supported for customisation. Keys are fully programmable, with on-the-fly macro recording and a gaming mode available when you need them.
Connection
The keyboard uses an attached cable with cable routing options, so you can place it neatly on your desk. It is listed as compatible with PC and with Xbox One for basic input.
Who it fits
If you are moving up from a basic office keyboard, the Ornata V2 is an easy step. It keeps the full layout and adds gaming features such as per-key programming, macros and Chroma lighting, while the plush wrist rest keeps the experience comfortable.
The Xbox One compatibility is limited to basic input, so treat it as a bonus rather than the main use.
