Who it is for and how it fits your setup

The Kraken (2019) suits players who move between platforms. The 3.5 mm plug works with PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and mobile devices that have a 3.5 mm jack, and the included splitter handles desktops that have separate headphone and microphone sockets. The eyewear channels in the cushions are a thoughtful detail if you wear glasses, and the in-line controls keep volume and mute within reach without touching your keyboard or controller.

Sound, voice and comfort

The 50 mm neodymium drivers are custom-tuned and span 12 Hz - 28 kHz, with 32 ohm impedance and 109 dB sensitivity. The retractable unidirectional ECM boom microphone records from 100 Hz - 10 kHz and slides out of the way when you are only listening. On the comfort side, the oval cushions are infused with cooling gel and shaped with eyewear channels, the headband is thickly padded, and the bauxite aluminium frame keeps the whole headset to 322 g. The in-line volume wheel and mic mute sit on the cable, so you can change levels without alt-tabbing out of the game.
