• ABS keycaps
• Razer Chroma RGB per-key backlighting with 16.8 million colours
• Hybrid storage for up to 5 profiles
• Wired connection with an attached braided fibre cable
• 1000 Hz polling and 10-key rollover with anti-ghosting
• Fully programmable keys with on-the-fly macro recording and gaming mode

Who it suits

This keyboard is for players who like the feedback of a clicky switch but want something lighter than a typical mechanical press. Optical switches register actuation with light, which Razer describes as light and clicky.

It is a straightforward full-size board: no wrist rest and no media keys, but you do get a numpad, a wired braided fibre cable and lighting that you can set per key.

Switches and build

The 100 million keystroke rating suggests a switch that is built for heavy daily use, whether you are gaming for hours or typing documents. Clicky feedback makes each press easy to register.

An aluminium matte top plate gives the keyboard a clean surface and a sturdy feel, while the attached braided fibre cable adds durability to the connection.

Lighting and control

Razer Chroma RGB lighting works per key with 16.8 million colours. You can record macros on the fly, store up to 5 profiles in hybrid storage and use gaming mode when you need to avoid accidental presses. With 10-key rollover and anti-ghosting, multiple simultaneous presses are registered accurately.

Who it fits

The Huntsman is a practical choice for a standard PC desk where you want a full-size layout and a bit of audible feedback. It suits players who write and play on the same keyboard, since the clicky response is easy to feel and hear.

Because the cable is attached and braided, there is no connector to lose, and the board is ready to use the moment you plug it in.
