The Razer BlackWidow V3 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (Green Switch) - Black is a full-size wired keyboard that pairs tactile, clicky Razer Green switches with media keys, a digital roller and an ergonomic wrist rest. It is built with aluminium construction and Razer Chroma RGB lighting.

Key features

• Full-size US layout
• Razer Green mechanical switches, tactile and clicky
• Doubleshot ABS keycaps
• Razer Chroma RGB per-key backlighting with 16.8 million colours
• Media keys plus a multi-function digital roller

• Hybrid storage for up to 5 profiles
• Wired attached USB cable with cable routing options

Who it suits

The BlackWidow V3 is aimed at players who want a complete desktop keyboard: the full layout with numpad, dedicated media controls and a digital roller for volume or other functions. The included wrist rest supports your hands during long sessions.

Wired connection means there is nothing to charge or pair, and 1000 Hz polling keeps responses quick.

It is compatible with PC and managed through Razer Synapse 3, where you can assign macros, tune the lighting and save your layouts. Fully programmable keys mean you can adapt it to MMOs, shooters or office work alike.

Switches, lighting and control

Razer Green switches deliver a pronounced click and tactile feel, while the doubleshot ABS keycaps and aluminium construction give the board a solid feel.

Per-key Chroma RGB lighting offers 16.8 million colours, and Razer Synapse 3 handles customisation. Keys are fully programmable with on-the-fly macro recording, N-key rollover and a gaming mode.

Controls and comfort

The media keys and multi-function digital roller put quick controls at your fingertips, so you can manage sound and playback without leaving the game. The ergonomic wrist rest is included, helping keep your wrists in a comfortable position over long sessions.

The attached USB cable has cable routing options to suit your desk layout, and the hybrid storage keeps up to 5 profiles available for different games or users.

Because the switches are tactile and clicky, you get clear feedback on each key press, which many players like for typing as well as gaming. With a full-size layout, the numpad stays available for spreadsheets, game binds and macros.
