Princess Peach: Showtime! (Nintendo Switch)

Princess Peach: Showtime! is an action-adventure game from Nintendo for Nintendo Switch, with Princess Peach taking centre stage. It is a single-player game rated PEGI 7, supplied on a physical game card.

The stage is set

As the title suggests, the setting is a theatre, and Peach is the star of the show. The game belongs to the Super Mario family, but it puts Peach in the lead role and builds the adventure around her, which gives it a different feel from the usual platforming games.

The genre tags are Action and Adventure, and the game is aimed at a broad audience, with a PEGI 7 rating and an approachable pace. It is an easy recommendation for younger players and families.

In the theatre, Peach takes on a range of roles, and each costume gives her new abilities, such as swordfighting, baking or detective work. Those transformations change how each stage plays, so the game keeps introducing new ideas instead of repeating a single mechanic. It is a cheerful, colourful way to spend an evening with the family.
