Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is an urban Pokémon adventure published by Nintendo, supplied as a physical game card for Nintendo Switch 2. This edition runs with enhanced resolution and frame rates on Nintendo Switch 2, and it is rated PEGI 7.

A Pokémon adventure in the city

Rather than a countryside route or an open wilderness, this entry places the adventure in an urban setting. The genre tags are Action, Adventure and RPG, and the game is listed for up to four players.

It follows on from Pokémon Legends: Arceus in spirit, with a stronger focus on action alongside the exploration, collecting and team-building that Pokémon players expect. The Switch 2 Edition is aimed at players who want the sharpest possible picture and smoother motion from the new console.

The setting is Lumiose City, a large city where people and Pokémon share the streets, so the adventure leans heavily on urban exploration. Battles take place in real time, which gives encounters a fast, action-driven feel that is quite different from classic turn-based combat. Pokémon fans who enjoy trying a new approach to the series will find plenty to experiment with here.

Why play Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition on Nintendo Switch 2

This edition is made for Nintendo Switch 2, so the performance upgrade is the main reason to choose it. Higher resolution and better frame rates make a visible difference in a game where you are constantly moving through busy streets and spaces.

Because it is a physical game card, you can lend it, keep it in your collection or swap it with friends who also own a Nintendo Switch 2.
