Persona 3 Reload (PS5)

Persona 3 Reload is a reimagining of one of the defining entries in the Persona series, published by SEGA for PlayStation 5. You play a transfer student who stumbles into the hidden hour between one day and the next, awakens a strange power and gets pulled into a fight that will shape the friendships made along the way. This is the physical disc edition.

A hidden hour between two days

The story follows a newcomer drawn into the mysteries of the Dark Hour, a stretch of time that most people never see. As the protagonist awakens a new power, there is a truth to chase and friends to fight for, and the game puts real weight on the bonds that are left behind.

SEGA presents this version as a faithful remake rather than a simple port: the visuals have been rebuilt for modern hardware, the signature stylish interface is back, and there are new scenes, new character interactions and additional voiceover that deepen the original story.

• Remote Play supported, with vibration through the DualSense wireless controller

Why play Persona 3 Reload on PS5

On PlayStation 5 the game supports vibration through the DualSense wireless controller, and the listing also notes Remote Play support. It is also marked as PS4 Pro Enhanced. Online play is optional, and the story itself is built around a single-player experience.

It is a disc release, so you need a PS5 with a disc drive to play it. The game is a long one that rewards patience, so it suits players who like to settle into a story over many evenings.
