PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC (PS5)

PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC is a modernised classic: improved UI, fine-tuned mechanics and updated visuals wrapped around a platforming rescue mission. This PS5 disc is a single-player adventure rated MENA 3.

A birthday gone wrong

PAC-MAN arrives home on his birthday to find that the Ghosts have kidnapped his family and friends and ruined his party. Off to the rescue, he sets out for Ghost Island. Along the way you dodge Ghosts, solve environmental puzzles and rescue the PAC-FAM, building toward a final face-off against TOC-MAN. It is a simple, cheerful premise, which suits a platformer aimed at players of all ages. The mix of platforming, puzzles and rescues means the game is about moving around well rather than quick shooting: the butt-bounce, rev-roll and hover-jump moves give you several ways to travel through a stage, and the PAC-DOT attack rounds out the toolkit. Extra modes then stretch the game beyond the main quest, so there is more to do once the family is saved.
