Onimusha: Way of the Sword (PS5)

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is an all-new entry in the Onimusha series, built around intense swordplay. This PS5 disc sends you through bloodstained battlefields in Edo-period Kyoto, a city twisted by clouds of Malice and filled with monsters from the underworld.

A samurai, a gauntlet and a cursed capital

You play Miyamoto Musashi, an ardent samurai who arrives in Kyoto to prove he is unmatched in the way of the sword, only to find the path ahead taking a strange and unexpected turn. He carries the Oni Gauntlet, a mystical artifact that grants him the power to slay Genma, fiends from the lowest depths of hell that the Malice has brought into the world of the living. The game is set among Kyoto's shrines and temples, including Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which take on an eerie and foreboding look. Capcom also cast the late Japanese samurai-film legend Toshiro Mifune as the face model for Musashi.
