One Piece: Unlimited World Red (PS4)

One Piece: Unlimited World Red is a remaster of the latest instalment in the Unlimited series, published by BANDAI NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT EUROPE, and this PS4 disc brings it to your console with more than 50 pieces of extra content included. It is an action adventure built around the Straw Hat crew.

An original One Piece story

The story and characters are original, created by Eiichiro Oda himself, so even long-time fans of the series get something new. You take part in epic fights against famous bosses all the way up to the Dressrosa Chapter.

The Battle Coliseum Mode adds an arena where players can show off their skills, giving the game a replayable challenge beyond the main story.

Gameplay and features

• A remaster of the latest game in the Unlimited series
• Over 50 pieces of extra content included
• An original story and original characters created by Eiichiro Oda
• Epic fights against famous bosses up to the Dressrosa Chapter
• Battle Coliseum Mode, a dangerous arena for testing your skills
• Every Straw Hat crew member is playable

Why play it on PS4

The disc supports 2 players, so a friend can join the crew, and it also supports DUALSHOCK 4 vibration and Remote Play. The age rating is PEGI 12.

On-screen languages include English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.

It suits One Piece fans who want to play as the whole crew rather than just one character. Having all Straw Hat members playable means you can switch between fighting styles, and the Battle Coliseum is a good place to keep practising once you have finished the story.

Since two players are supported, the arena also works as a way to compete with a friend on the same console, while the boss fights suit solo play.

Game details

Anime fans can group it with other PlayStation 4 games. A second controller from the PlayStation controllers collection lets a friend join, and the PlayStation consoles range covers the console.
