One Piece: Unlimited World Red - Deluxe Edition (Nintendo Switch)

One Piece: Unlimited World Red - Deluxe Edition is an action-adventure on Nintendo Switch that offers a scenario written exclusively for the game. The characters are designed by Eiichiro Oda, the creator of ONE PIECE, and the adventure is meant to be enjoyed in co-op.

An original ONE PIECE story

This game tells a story created just for it, with its own game-exclusive scenario. Putting the series creator's character designs at the centre makes it a good fit for people who already know the ONE PIECE world and want something new inside it, rather than a game that repeats scenes they have already watched. The listing does not name the plot beats, so what we can say with confidence is that it is an original adventure and that it is built to be played together.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

Co-op is the main reason to choose the Switch version. Two players can share a console, so it works for siblings, friends or a parent and child who both like ONE PIECE. It also runs solo for 1 player. Because it comes on a game card, there is nothing to download before you start, and PEGI 12 means it is suited to teenagers and up. The text options cover Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Chinese, so the menus will be readable for most players, though Arabic is not among them. If you want a ONE PIECE game that you can hand a second controller to, this Deluxe Edition on game card is a straightforward pick for a Switch library.
