Nickelodeon Kart Racers (PS4)

Nickelodeon Kart Racers is a kart racing game from GAMEMILL ENTERTAINMENT, and this PS4 disc brings familiar Nickelodeon characters to the starting line. Race across Slime-filled tracks, win cups, upgrade your kart and challenge your friends in split-screen racing and battle modes.

Characters from Nickelodeon favourites

The roster draws on several shows. SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy come from SpongeBob SquarePants, while Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello arrive from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Arnold and Helga from Hey Arnold! take part, and Angelica, Tommy and Reptar join in from Rugrats.

Racing is only part of it. Beyond the cups there is a Battle Arena with a variety of challenges, so a session does not have to be all about lap times.

Gameplay and features

• Select a racer from your favourite Nickelodeon series
• Slime-filled race tracks and cups to win

Why play it on PS4

Up to 4 players can share the screen on one console, and the DUALSHOCK 4 controller provides vibration. The age rating is PEGI 3, which makes it suitable for the youngest players, while the character line-up gives it recognition value for older siblings too.

On-screen languages include English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch.

It is a natural choice for family play. Everyone can pick a favourite character, and the battle modes give the group a second way to compete once the cup races are done. For single players, the cups and kart upgrades give you something to work towards.

The listing also gives the HD video output as 720p, 1080i and 1080p, so the game works with a broad range of TVs.

Game details

Add it to your collection of PlayStation 4 games for easy group play. Extra pads from the PlayStation controllers collection make a four-player race possible, and the PlayStation consoles range covers the console.
