Need for Speed Unbound (PS5)

Need for Speed Unbound is a racing game for PlayStation 5, published by EA and supplied on a physical disc. The release listed here is the Ultimate Collection, which bundles the premium content that followed the original launch. It has a MENA rating of 12 and lists Arabic among its on-screen languages.

Street racing, customised your way

The description centres on car culture and personalisation. The collection gives access to nine fully customisable cars, over 45 Customs and hundreds of extra cosmetics, so you can build a garage with your own look from the start.

The pack gathers a long list of add-ons into one package: the Keys to the Map pack, the Vol. 9 and Vol. 8 Premium Speed Passes, the Vol. 3 to Vol. 8 Catch-Up packs, the Vol. 3, 4 and 5 Customs packs, plus the Trick or Street, Hip Hop Origin and Robojets Swag Packs.

Gameplay and features

• Driving and racing action for 1 player, with optional online play
• Online play for up to 16 players, with PS Plus required
• Ultimate Collection content including post-launch premium packs
• Nine fully customisable cars and over 45 Customs
• Hundreds of additional cosmetics from the included Swag Packs
• Vol. 3 to Vol. 8 Catch-Up packs bundled in
• On-screen text in eleven languages, including Arabic

Why play it on PlayStation 5

On PS5 the game is a physical disc release, with online racing available to PS Plus subscribers. The Vol. 8 Dynamic Catch-up Pack and the Vol. 9 Premium Speed Pass need a manual download, and Vol. 9 requires gameplay to unlock its content, so keep that in mind when you start.

On-screen text covers Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese, so menus and subtitles are available in Arabic.

The release date for this PS5 disc is 25 October 2024. Because the extras are bundled, there is no need to hunt for the Customs and Catch-Up packs one by one.
