Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Deluxe Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Deluxe Edition gathers the essential games from the early years of Mortal Kombat in one collection, and this listing is the Deluxe Edition on a physical Nintendo Switch 2 game card. It is built for fans who want the arcade-era roots of the series in one place.

The early years of Mortal Kombat, collected

Legacy Kollection is a look back rather than a new fight. It brings together the games from Mortal Kombat's early years, and it follows the Digital Eclipse approach of presenting classic games alongside the history behind them. Expect the franchise's origins to be treated as something to explore, not just play.

The collection is published by Digital Eclipse and was released on 30 October 2025. It is rated PEGI 18 and listed in the Action, Arcade and Fighting genres for up to 2 players.

• Deluxe Edition on a physical Nintendo Switch 2 game card

Why play Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Deluxe Edition on Nintendo Switch 2

This is the Nintendo Switch 2 edition, delivered on a physical game card. A two-player arcade fighter is a natural fit for sharing a console on the couch, so keep a second controller close.

On-screen languages are English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. Arabic is not listed for this edition.

If you are choosing between a collection and a modern entry, this one is for readers of the series' history as much as for button-mashers. It lets you start at the beginning and see where the franchise came from before moving on to newer games.
