Mortal Kombat 1 (PS5)

Mortal Kombat 1 is a fighting game for PlayStation 5 that rebuilds the Mortal Kombat universe from the ground up. This is the physical disc edition, with a new fighting system, new game modes and a fresh run of the series' trademark fatalities.

A reborn Mortal Kombat universe

The story starts with a reset. The Fire God Liu Kang has created a reborn Mortal Kombat universe, and the game uses that fresh start to open a new era for the franchise. If you have followed the series for years, it gives you a reason to revisit the roster. If you are new to it, nothing about the premise asks for homework.

Mortal Kombat 1 is developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive. It carries an age rating of MENA rating 18, which fits the brutal, over-the-top presentation the franchise is known for.
