Monster Jam Showdown (PS5)

Monster Jam Showdown is an arcade monster-truck racing game from Milestone, and this listing is the standard edition on a physical PS5 disc. It is rated MENA rating 3 and supports two players locally plus online racing for up to eight with PS Plus.

Trucks, tricks and untamed terrain

Players can unlock dozens of trucks and collect different liveries, drawn from the current Monster Jam fleet, legendary history-making trucks and the wildest fictional beasts from the toy universe. Grave Digger, El Toro Loco and Megalodon are among the stars.

Racing is not limited to stadiums. The game takes you to the dust of Death Valley, the forests of Colorado and the Alaskan ice, where sandstorms, thunderstorms and blizzards shake up each race.

Gameplay and features

• Off-road arcade racing with an accessible dual-steering driving model
• Freestyle mode with wheelies, donuts and big air
• Showdown Tour career, a non-linear adventure across game modes
• Modes including circuits, Figure 8 tracks, Horde races, Best Trick and Extreme Freestyle
• Online Treasure Hunt and Survival challenges
• Dozens of trucks and liveries to unlock

Boosting into opponents and damaging the environment gives you more power, so races are as much about aggression as precision.

Freestyle events are about showing off: balance the perfect wheelie, burn clean donuts or launch for big air, then climb the leaderboards as a trick master.

Why play Monster Jam Showdown on PS5

The PS5 disc supports vibration and trigger effects on the DualSense wireless controller, which suits a game about big trucks and bigger landings. Remote Play is supported, and online play for up to eight players needs PS Plus.

On-screen languages are Chinese, French, Japanese, German, Polish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish and English. Arabic is not listed. The MENA rating 3 makes it a friendly pick for the household.
