Monster Hunter: World (PS4)

Monster Hunter: World is Capcom's action game in which you take on the role of a hunter and slay ferocious monsters in a living, breathing ecosystem. This listing is the standard edition on a physical PS4 disc, rated PEGI 16 and including Arabic on-screen text.

A living, breathing ecosystem

In Monster Hunter: World you enter a new world as a hunter, and the landscape is part of the fight. Its diverse inhabitants and terrain can be used to get the upper hand over your prey, which makes preparation and awareness as important as raw strength.

Every victory feeds the next: materials collected from fallen monsters are used to craft new gear, which lets you tackle even bigger and tougher beasts.

Gameplay and features

• Hunt ferocious monsters in a living ecosystem
• Use the landscape and its inhabitants to your advantage
• Craft new gear from materials collected from fallen monsters
• Hunt alone, or in co-op with up to three other players
• Online play for up to four players with PS Plus
• Arabic on-screen text, plus English, French, German, Spanish and Italian

Online play is optional and requires PS Plus, and optional in-game purchases are listed. The game is rated PEGI 16.

Hunting here is about using what you find. Because the landscape and its inhabitants can be turned against your prey, studying the environment is as useful as sharpening your weapon, and the gear you craft from each defeated monster feeds directly into the next hunt.
