Minecraft Dungeons II Deluxe Edition (PS5)

Minecraft Dungeons II Deluxe Edition is the follow-up to Mojang's dungeon-crawling action-adventure, and this listing is the Deluxe Edition on a physical PS5 disc. It is out now, rated GENERIC 7 and built around solo play and co-op for up to four players.

Step through the rift into the Sift

The sequel sends you through a rift into the Sift, an uncharted dimension full of threats, mysteries and striking scenery. The illagers' plot is already underway, and their cruelty is matched only by their power: your job is to stop them before the Overworld is lost to their corruption.

You can gear up and tailor your playstyle to face tougher enemies in explosive battles, whether you go it alone as a lone hero or bring others along.

Gameplay and features

• Action-adventure with more action, more loot and more adventure than the original
• Customisable playstyle for facing the toughest enemies yet
• Couch, online and mixed co-op for up to four players
• Matchmaking to find allies when you play online
• Online play for up to four players, with PS Plus required
• Vibration support on the DualSense wireless controller, plus Remote Play

The publisher notes that the game requires an initial content download, and online console multiplayer or co-op needs a platform-specific online subscription, which is sold separately. Optional in-game purchases are available. The specs do not detail the extra content in the Deluxe Edition.

Why play Minecraft Dungeons II on PS5

On PS5 the game supports vibration through the DualSense wireless controller, and Remote Play is supported too. Couch co-op means a second pad is all you need to bring in a friend or sibling on the same screen, while online and mixed co-op let you join others elsewhere.

The rating is GENERIC 7, so it is friendly for younger players. On-screen text is offered in many languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Portuguese and Russian. Arabic is not listed.
