Minecraft Dungeons Hero Edition (PS4)

Minecraft Dungeons Hero Edition is a dungeon-crawling action-adventure set in the Minecraft universe, published by Mojang AB. This listing is the Hero Edition on a physical PS4 disc, rated MENA rating 7 and built for solo play or a team of up to four players.

A quest to take down the Arch-Illager

Minecraft Dungeons takes the blocky world of Minecraft and reshapes it into an action-adventure inspired by classic dungeon crawlers. Your mission is to save the villagers and bring down the evil Arch-Illager, fighting through levels that are packed with treasure and full of variety.

You can brave the dungeons alone or team up with friends. Up to four players can battle together in co-op mode, which makes it an easy game to pick up for a family evening or a session with friends on the same console.

Gameplay and features

• Dungeon-crawler action-adventure in the Minecraft universe
• Unlock dozens of unique items and weapon enchantments for powerful special attacks
• Up to four players in co-op mode, with online play for up to four players via PS Plus
• Personalise your character and choose your style: melee swings, ranged attacks or heavy armour to tank swarms of mobs

Online play is optional and requires PS Plus, so local and solo play are fully available without it. The Hero Edition is the edition listed here; the extra content it includes is not broken down in the specs.

Why play Minecraft Dungeons Hero Edition on PS4

The PS4 version supports DUALSHOCK 4 vibration, which adds feedback to every swing. A physical disc is easy to share, lend and keep with the rest of your PS4 library.

On-screen text is available in a long list of languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese and Korean. Arabic is not listed. Optional online play and a four-player cap make it flexible whether you play solo or with a full team.
