Matchpoint - Tennis Championships (PS5)

Matchpoint - Tennis Championships is a tennis game for PS5, published by Kalypso Media and developed by Torus Games. It aims for a true-to-life on-court experience, with a deep career mode, a rivalry system, 16 real-life stars and Arabic on-screen text. It is rated GENERIC 3.

A modern take on tennis

The game puts a strong focus on tactical realism, positioning and aiming. You move your player into the right place to get the most from each shot, and slick animations, authentic ball physics and enhanced player control are meant to recreate the real rhythm of a match.

Career mode is the centrepiece. You create your own 3D tennis star, choosing your look, fashion and play style, including left- or right-handed play and a one- or two-handed backhand. You then work through a merit-based ranking system, hire a personal coach and study your rivals' strengths and weaknesses before you step on court.
