Locked in a room with a ghost

You wake in a dark room with blood on your hands and your mother and sister dead. MADiSON, the ghost of an evil murderer, is forcing you to continue a gory ritual that began decades earlier and wants you to finish her ceremony. She is not the only entity to fear, and each one has a disturbing story that feeds into the main narrative. With an unsettling instant camera that connects the human world with the beyond, you search, solve puzzles and try to survive.

Gameplay and features

• Use a possessed instant camera to bridge the human world and the beyond
• Develop the photos you take by hand and face what they reveal
• Search the environment, pick up objects and interact with them to survive the entities
• Randomly triggered events and changing puzzles for extra replayability
• VR play styles: sitting, standing and roomscale
• A single-player first-person experience rebuilt for VR
• Disturbing characters whose stories blend into the main narrative

Why play it on PS5 with PS VR2

This game needs both the PS VR2 headset and the PS VR2 Sense controllers. The specs list vibration through the headset and vibration plus trigger effects through the controllers, so scares are felt as well as seen. You can choose to play seated, standing or in roomscale. On-screen text includes Arabic, along with English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Russian, Turkish, Polish and Romanian; the specs do not list Arabic voice-over.
