Life is Strange Arcadia Bay Collection (Nintendo Switch)

Life is Strange Arcadia Bay Collection brings the story-driven adventure back on Nintendo Switch, in a physical game card edition published by Square Enix Europe LTD. The publisher describes the series as a BAFTA award-winning story, and this release is rated PEGI 16, so it is aimed at older teens and adults.

A narrative adventure built around choices

The collection takes its name from Arcadia Bay, and it carries the story the publisher describes as BAFTA award-winning. This is an action and adventure title played solo, where the experience is about the story you uncover rather than a score or a speed run. If you like games that you play slowly, talk through with friends afterwards and perhaps revisit later, this is the kind of game that suits it. Because it is a story-first title, it works best when you give it a quiet evening and your full attention.

What to expect

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

A story game works well on a console you can pick up and put down, and the physical game card means you keep a copy that does not depend on storage space. The specs list one player and PEGI 16, and the available languages are English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese. Arabic is not listed, so keep that in mind if you rely on Arabic text. The specs do not detail which episodes the collection contains, so check the cover if you need that information.
