LEGO Worlds (PS4)

LEGO Worlds is an open sandbox where every landscape, tree and creature is made of LEGO bricks, and you decide what to do with all of it. This copy is a physical disc for PlayStation 4, published by Warner Bros. Interactive, and it suits young builders, explorers and parents who like playing together on the same couch.

A brick-built world to explore and reshape

There is no fixed plot to follow here. The game drops you into procedurally generated worlds built entirely from LEGO bricks, and the point is to explore, discover and create. Each world can be changed freely and filled with LEGO models, so no two play sessions need to look the same. You can wander off to see what is over the next hill, or stop and start building the thing you have been imagining.

Gameplay and features

• Build anything one brick at a time, or use large-scale landscaping tools to raise mountain ranges and scatter tropical islands
• Drop in prefabricated structures and customise them until the world looks the way you want
• Travel in style by helicopter, dragon, motorbike or even on the back of a gorilla
• Unlock treasures along the way that enhance your gameplay
• Meet characters and creatures that react to you and to each other in unexpected ways
• Play with a second player, with optional online play for up to 2 players

Why play LEGO Worlds on PS4

The disc is made for PlayStation 4 and uses DUALSHOCK 4 vibration, so bumps, builds and big moments come through the controller. Online play is optional and needs PS Plus, which means the whole game works fine offline for two players at home. The game is rated PEGI 7, and the on-screen text covers English, French, Polish, Turkish, Russian and Arabic, so Arabic readers can follow menus and prompts without trouble.
