The idea of becoming the best villain the universe has seen is the core appeal, and the open-world DC setting gives you space to cause trouble. Warner Bros. Interactive released it on 18 October 2018, and the listing shows PEGI 7. Two players can team up, and Arabic on-screen text helps households that prefer it.

The story premise, with the Justice League missing and the Justice Syndicate stepping in, gives the adventure a clear hook. Creating your own villain also means your play style is reflected in the character, which is unusual among licensed LEGO games.
