The music of KINGDOM HEARTS

Instead of a traditional action RPG, Melody of Memory lets you explore the music and memories of the KINGDOM HEARTS series. It features more than 20 characters and more than 140 music tracks, drawn from both the KINGDOM HEARTS series and Disney.

You play as familiar faces from the series, and Disney guest characters appear to lend you a hand. The publisher describes it as a musical journey built around memorable tunes.

Why play it on PlayStation 4

The disc is made for PlayStation 4 and supports two players. Online play is optional, and PS Plus is required if you want to play online. Arabic on-screen text is supported, which helps in a household where menus and text are easier to follow in Arabic.

It is a different pace from the main KINGDOM HEARTS games, so it suits players who want the series music and characters without a long role-playing campaign.

Because the game is built around rhythm-action, it is easier to pick up and put down than a long story RPG. With more than 140 tracks, there is plenty to replay, and the online VS multiplayer mode adds a competitive angle for two players. The listing shows MENA rating 12, and the supported on-screen languages are Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian and English. If you already love the series music, this is the game that puts it in front.
