Jurassic World Evolution (PS4)

Jurassic World Evolution (PS4) puts you in charge of operations on the legendary islands of the Muertes archipelago, where you bring dinosaurs to life. Frontier Developments plc publishes it, and this listing is the physical disc for PlayStation 4.

Run the islands

You build for Science, Entertainment or Security interests in an uncertain world where life always finds a way. Your dinosaurs are bioengineered, and they think, feel and react intelligently to the world around them, with unique behaviours, traits and appearances.

You contain and profit from them to fund your global search for lost dinosaur DNA. A new narrative featuring iconic characters from across the franchise ties the management together.

Why play it on PS4

The PS4 disc is a one-player game with optional in-game purchases, released on 11 June 2018. Management and strategy games reward long sessions, which suit a home console.

The game is rated PEGI 16, and on-screen text is available in German, English, Spanish, French, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and Portuguese.

Arabic is not among the listed on-screen languages. The edition is Standard.

The genre tags, Action, Simulation and Strategy, capture the double nature of the game: you can plan from above or take control directly. That flexibility makes it a good choice for players who enjoy both thinking and doing.

The three park focus areas, Science, Entertainment and Security, mean you can shape the park around your own priorities. The bioengineering side adds another layer, since you can give your dinosaurs unique behaviours and appearances. A narrative featuring familiar characters from the franchise runs through it, giving the management a story to follow.
