Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection (PS5)

Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection (PS5) gathers seven classic Jurassic Park games from the 8-bit and 16-bit era on one disc for PlayStation 5. Limited Run Games publishes it, and it marks 30 years of the film.

Seven retro Jurassic Park games

The collection updates seven classic titles with save state support, new in-game maps and various quality-of-life fixes. The lineup is Jurassic Park 8-BIT, Jurassic Park PORTABLE, Jurassic Park 16-BIT, Jurassic Park GENESIS, Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues 16-BIT, Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues PORTABLE and Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition GENESIS.

In each release you explore Isla Nublar and recreate the excitement of the original franchise. You play as Dr. Alan Grant or, in some releases, as a Velociraptor.

Why play it on PS5

This is a physical disc for PlayStation 5, released on 21 November 2023. Retro compilations are a good fit for a modern console because the save state support removes much of the frustration of old-school difficulty.

The age rating on the listing is GENERIC 12.

The listing does not give an on-screen language list, and the edition is Standard.

The collection suits players who remember the original 8-bit and 16-bit Jurassic Park games and anyone curious about how games from that era played. With seven titles on one disc, you can move between versions to compare the portable, 8-bit, 16-bit and Genesis releases without swapping media.

Because every title includes save state support, you can stop and resume at any point instead of replaying levels from the start. The new in-game maps are also a useful addition if you find the old exploration hard to follow. These are the kinds of changes that make a retro collection easier to enjoy on a modern console.

The edition is Standard, and the format is a physical disc for PlayStation 5.
