Grand Theft Auto V (PS5)

Grand Theft Auto V from Rockstar Games arrives on PlayStation 5 as a physical disc, and its centrepiece is GTA Online: a persistent online world for up to 30 players where you climb from street-level hustler to kingpin. This PS5 edition adds new vehicle upgrades, a Career Builder and every gameplay update released since launch, so you can jump straight into the current state of the game, alone or with friends.

Build a criminal empire in Los Santos

GTA Online is about growth. You start with little and work your way up, choosing how you want to earn your reputation. The Career Builder lets you pick one of four businesses to kick-start things: Biker, Executive, Nightclub Owner or Gunrunner. From there you choose properties, high-powered vehicles and weaponry to get your enterprise moving.

The world around you is the Los Santos and Blaine County setting, shown on PS5 in more detail than before. More than 40 large updates are included, from The Contract, the hunt for Dr. Dre's missing music files with Franklin Clinton, to the underground street racing of Los Santos Tuners, the Heists on Cayo Perico island and the nightlife of After Hours and The Diamond Casino & Resort.

Why play it on PS5

On the controller side, the game supports vibration and trigger effects on the DualSense wireless controller, and Remote Play is supported.
