GO VACATION (Nintendo Switch)

GO VACATION is a party and sports game for Nintendo Switch, published by Nintendo and developed by BANDAI NAMCO Studios Inc. Released on 27 July 2018, it is built around the idea that a resort vacation is always at your fingertips, and it supports one to four players on a physical game card.

A resort vacation at your fingertips

The game takes its premise from its name: a holiday resort where there is always something to do. Instead of a single storyline, the appeal is variety, and the listing's genre tags show how wide that variety is: Extreme, Football, Party, Racing, Sports and Tennis.

That mix means a session can move from one kind of activity to another without feeling repetitive. It is rated PEGI 3, so it is appropriate for very young players, and it works for families who want something to play together.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

A multi-activity party game is a natural match for Nintendo Switch, which is often the console people reach for when friends and family are in the same room. The physical game card goes straight into the console, and a few extra controllers are all you need to get a group playing.

Since the game is open to all ages, it is a good one to keep on hand for children, grandparents and everyone in between. If you are building a Switch library for shared play, a varied resort game like this one is a sensible place to start.
