Gang Beasts (Nintendo Switch)

Gang Beasts is a party fighting game for Nintendo Switch, published by Boneloaf and released on 7 October 2021. The listing sums it up with one line, "punch your hearts out", and it comes with support for up to eight players on a physical game card for Nintendo Switch.

Chaotic fights with friends

Gang Beasts is listed under the Action, Fighting and Party genres, and that mix says a lot about its spirit. It is a game for a room full of people who want to laugh, shove each other around and argue about who really won the last round.

The call to punch your hearts out sets the tone: this is about energetic, lighthearted brawling rather than a serious competitive grind. Rated PEGI 7, it is accessible to younger players as well as adults, which makes it an easy choice when the group includes different ages.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

Party games are where Nintendo Switch shines. The console is easy to set up in a living room, and a physical game card means you can slot it in and start without waiting for downloads. If you have extra controllers on hand, getting everyone into a match is quick.

With English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Chinese on-screen text, it works for mixed groups too. For anyone building a library of games to play together, Gang Beasts is a lively, easy-to-pick-up option.
