Flashback 2 Limited Edition (PS5)

Flashback 2 Limited Edition continues a cult sci-fi series on PlayStation 5, on a physical disc of the Limited Edition. Created by Paul Cuisset, who also made the 1992 original, it is a single-player platform shooter mixing action, exploration and puzzle solving. It is rated GENERIC 12.

Conrad B. Hart against the Morphs

The year is in the 22nd century, and the peace of the United Worlds covers the Solar System. That calm is threatened by the Morph invasion led by the fearsome General Lazarus, who aims to enslave every civilization. You play Conrad B. Hart, a young agent of the GBI, the Galactic Bureau of Investigation.

Conrad is searching for his lifelong friend Ian, and he has a few allies on his side, including A.I.S.H.A., his iconic AI-powered weapon. The adventure is full of twists, turns and revelations as he travels between multiple environments such as New Tokyo, New Washington and the Jungle.

The original Flashback appeared in 1992 and became a legend of action gaming, ranking among the 100 best video games in history. This new chapter is designed to stay true to that sci-fi universe while adding a modern 3D look and a combat AI-driven weapon. The specs do not list extras for the Limited Edition, so we simply describe it as the Limited Edition of the game.

Why play it on PlayStation 5

Flashback 2 supports vibration on the DualSense wireless controller, which adds feedback to firefights and platforming. It is an offline-only game, so you can play it without an internet connection.

Arabic on-screen text is supported, alongside Czech, Spanish, Chinese, French, Russian, German, Polish, Italian, English and Korean, so menus and subtitles are readable for Arabic-speaking players. The specs do not mention Arabic voice-over.
