Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Nintendo Switch)

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a strategy role-playing game for Nintendo Switch, published and developed by Nintendo and released on 26 July 2019. It is a single-player adventure set on a continent teetering on the edge of war, and it arrives on a physical game card for Nintendo Switch.

A continent on the verge of war

The premise is simple to state and big in scope: you shape the future of a continent that is about to go to war. As a Fire Emblem game, it is built around the idea that your choices matter, and that the people you meet along the way are as important as the battles you fight.

The game is listed in the RPG and Strategy genres. That combination points to a game where careful planning counts on the battlefield and where story and characters carry the experience between fights. It is a title for players who like to think a few moves ahead.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

Strategy RPGs suit a console you can pick up in short sessions or settle into for longer evenings, and Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a natural fit for that rhythm on Nintendo Switch. The physical game card keeps your copy easy to store and easy to swap with other games in your library.

It is also a solid starting point for anyone building a Switch collection around deep, story-led games. With English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese on-screen text available, most players can pick the language that suits them.
