Far Cry Primal (PS4)

Overview

Far Cry Primal transports the franchise's signature brand of chaotic, open-world action to an era unlike any other: the Stone Age. Published by Ubisoft and powered by Crytek's CryEngine technology, this PEGI 18-rated PlayStation 4 title drops you into a breathtaking prehistoric world teeming with dangerous wildlife, rival tribes, and the ever-present threat of extinction. You are not the hunter — you are the hunted, and only the strongest will endure. Available as a physical disc for PlayStation 4, Far Cry Primal is a must-have entry in any PS4 library.

Key Features

• Stone Age Reinvention: Far Cry's hallmark chaotic open world is rebuilt from the ground up in a richly detailed prehistoric setting, packed with unpredictable encounters, brutal tribal conflicts, and incredible emergent stories.
• Play as Takkar: You are Takkar — a seasoned hunter and the sole survivor of your group. Master primitive weapons, tame beasts, and bend this savage world to your will as you fight to keep your people alive.
• Survivor Mode: Crank up the tension with Survivor Mode, which introduces a stamina gauge, scarcer resources, and a more realistic, unforgiving gameplay experience for those who want a true test of skill.
• Permadeath Option: For the ultimate challenge, activate full Permadeath — one life, no second chances. Die once and it's game over, making every decision and every encounter matter completely.
• Breathtaking Open World: Explore the vast land of Oros, a living prehistoric ecosystem filled with mammoths, sabre-toothed tigers, and rival human tribes across stunning, varied environments.
• DUALSHOCK 4 Vibration: Immersive vibration feedback through the DUALSHOCK 4 controller brings every beast encounter and battle to life in your hands.
• Remote Play Supported: Continue your Stone Age survival adventure on compatible devices via PlayStation Remote Play, giving you flexibility on how and where you play.
• Optional In-Game Purchases: The core experience is complete on disc; any in-game purchases are entirely optional and do not gate the main adventure.

Who It's For

It is rated PEGI 18, making it suitable for adult gamers only.
