FAR CRY 6 (PS4)

FAR CRY 6 (PS4) is an open-world first-person guerrilla shooter from Ubisoft, released on 6 October 2021. You take down Castillo's regime in the island nation of Yara. This physical PS4 disc supports Arabic on-screen text.

The island nation of Yara

Yara is the setting, a fortified island nation where Castillo's regime holds power. You adopt the Resolver mindset, where anything goes if it weakens his rule. Meet rebel groups, farmers, smugglers and outcasts who fuel the revolution, take on missions, unlock upgrades and craft gear. Every community you help pushes the regime closer to collapse.

Arabic is supported for on-screen text such as menus and subtitles. The listing does not mention Arabic voice-over, and it does not state an age rating, so please check the rating on the disc case if you are buying for a younger player.

Gameplay and features

• Build improvised weapons such as missile backpacks and motorbike engine miniguns
• Fight beside unique animal companions that distract, scout or tear through enemy squads
• Capture bases and clear routes through jungles, beaches, farmland and a fortified capital
• Ride horses, fly helicopters and roll in scrappy buggies
• Play the whole campaign in 2-player co-op, combining Supremo backpack weapons

Why play it on PS4 (and PS5)

Online play for up to 2 players needs PS Plus and is optional, and Remote Play is supported. On-screen text is available in Arabic, Latin American Spanish and English.

On the disc you get a one-player campaign built around Yara and its revolution, with optional in-game purchases and optional online play. The details below stick to what the listing states: Ubisoft is the publisher, the release date is 6 October 2021, and the PS4 edition is the standard disc.
